About Us

Nate is co-owner of Grow Properties and leads the company’s property management division. Real estate has always been a part of his life; his father founded Grow Properties, and Nate has proudly continued that legacy, building the management side of the business into a trusted resource for property owners across the Sacramento Valley.

Licensed by the California Department of Real Estate, Nate oversees daily operations, working directly with owners and tenants to ensure properties are well cared for and investments are protected. As a former licensed general contractor, he also manages renovations and repairs when tenants move out—giving clients the advantage of in-house expertise for both routine upkeep and value-adding improvements.

A Sacramento native, Nate graduated from El Camino Fundamental High School. Before entering real estate full-time, he spent many years in hospitality, tending bar at Esquire Grill, one of downtown Sacramento’s landmark restaurants, and the South Land Park favorite, Brownie’s. Today, he and his wife, Elisha, a Pilates instructor and studio owner, are raising two high school–age children. Outside of work, you’ll often find Nate cheering on his daughter at volleyball games, watching his son swim, or enjoying a bike ride along the American River Parkway.

With over 20 years of experience in Sacramento real estate, Kyle Groves is a trusted Broker and REALTOR® helping clients buy and sell homes throughout the Sacramento Valley. He began his career in 2004 as a mortgage professional, building a strong foundation in lending before transitioning to residential sales with Lyon Real Estate–Downtown in 2009—the same year he earned his broker’s license.

In 2011, Kyle opened J.K. Groves Real Estate Group, serving the Arden-Carmichael area as an independent broker. A Certified Negotiation Expert, he has successfully guided clients through both market downturns (2009–2010) and competitive upswings (2020–2021). His client base includes first-time buyers, move-up and downsizing sellers, 1031 exchange investors, and those navigating probate or trust sales.

Since joining Grow Properties in 2019 and becoming a co-owner in 2021, Kyle has led the real estate sales side of the business, while also overseeing the financial operations of the property management division. Drawing on his background in lending, sales, and business management, he offers clients well-rounded, practical expertise to support confident, informed decisions—whether they’re buying a home or managing an investment.

Known for his calm, strategic approach, Kyle takes the time to coach clients through every step of the process, helping them feel supported and empowered from start to finish.

A Sacramento native, Kyle graduated from El Camino Fundamental High School, played football at American River College, and earned his B.A. in Organizational Communication with a minor in Business Administration from Sacramento State. He and his wife, Robyn, have been married for 20 years and are raising three children together. Outside of work, you’ll find Kyle spending time with family and friends, traveling for his daughter's soccer tournaments, cheering on his daughter’s high school cheer team, watching his son wrestle for his high school, or staying in shape at Urban Flex Fitness.

Garrett, a Sacramento native and REALTOR® since 2022, is recognized for his unwavering work ethic and commitment to client satisfaction. His extensive knowledge of Sacramento’s diverse neighborhoods empowers buyers and sellers to achieve their real estate goals, whether purchasing a first home, investing, or selling a property. In the fast-paced real estate business, Garrett's calm demeanor under pressure distinguishes him, ensuring smooth real estate transactions for his clients.

Karina joined Grow Properties in 2022 and quickly became an essential part of our team. As Office Manager, she wears many hats—supporting leasing, accounting, marketing, and day-to-day operations with precision and a positive attitude. In December 2023, she earned her California real estate license, further expanding her role in the business.

Born and raised in Sacramento, Karina brings both local insight and a deep sense of community to her work. Her introduction to Grow Properties came through her father, who owns Rodriguez Lawn Care and has long worked with our team. That connection turned into a career that perfectly aligned with her Business Administration degree and her passion for family-run businesses.

In the office, she’s known for streamlining systems, keeping everything running smoothly, and always bringing upbeat energy—her nickname here is “K-POP,” thanks to her love of Korean music and culture.

Outside of work, Karina is often with her large extended family, cheering on her dad’s soccer team, or exploring Sacramento’s food, nightlife, and live music scene. Whether it’s showing properties or organizing files, Karina brings a thoughtful, personal touch to everything she does.
